Seán is an experienced public policy and political leader with more than two decades at senior levels of Irish government. As Director of Policy and Regulation at Solar Ireland, Seán brings deep insight into policy design, regulatory processes and stakeholder engagement, shaped by his time as a TD and Minister of State with responsibility across education, enterprise, foreign affairs, and research and innovation. He is focused on supporting evidence-based policymaking and constructive engagement to enable the effective and sustainable scaling of solar energy in Ireland.
