On Thursday, 12 June 2025, Solar Ireland (formerly ISEA) was named Best Association of the Year at the Association and Institutes Awards — a proud moment for our team, members, board and the wider solar community.

The awards ceremony, held at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dublin, brought together associations and institutes from across the country to recognise leadership, innovation and impact across a wide range of sectors. To be recognised among such an inspiring group of finalists — and to take home the top honour — is a huge milestone for us.

This award acknowledges the momentum behind Ireland’s solar industry, and the role of strong, collaborative representation in driving real progress. From securing new supports for rooftop solar to championing grid reform, building public awareness and expanding our membership base, Solar Ireland has grown into a trusted voice in Ireland’s clean energy transition.

But none of this happens in isolation.

We owe this recognition to our members — companies and individuals working across solar development, delivery, and advocacy — and to the growing network of partners and supporters who continue to shape the sector’s future with us. We also want to thank the judges, the award organisers, and everyone who took part in making the night such a success.

Watch the moment our name was announced and our team took to the stage here.

We’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved — and even more energised for what comes next.

Thank you for being part of it.
