Solar PV Roofer

This is a rare opportunity to combine a passion for renewable energy with a real career opportunity to work with key influencers driving domestic solar in Ireland to the next level.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Solar PV Roofers/Carpenters to join our busy installation teams in Leinster.

The 5 installs a week role entails travelling to sites in a branded vehicle, erecting scaffolding and installing solar PV panels on our customers’ homes, farms and businesses in line with SEAI standards, building regulations, and our own internal health and safety requirements. We endeavour for our installation teams to work a 4 day work week.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs
• Erect and disassemble aluminium scaffolding systems
• Plan work on site and engage with homeowners to over-communicate progress
• Complete works in the allocated time, ensuring the highest standards and attention to detail
• Compile, record, and submit all required documentation

Requirements

• Roofing/Carpentry qualification, with at least 2 year experience in solar PV
• Innate leadership ability and appetite to continually develop
• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
• Driven, ambitious and self-motivated, and deeply passionate about renewable technologies
